Melanie Saisell- B.Pod
Melanie returns to the Podiatry Professionals team in 2018. She is from Gosford, NSW and graduated from the University of Newcastle's Bachelor of Podiatry program, where she was awarded her degree with Distinction after obtaining high grades in courses such as diabetic foot management, biomechanics, clinical skills and sports injuries. She has also completed a certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and a certificate III in Retail and Hospitality.
Melanie has a special interests in biomechanics, diabetes and general foot care and is dedicated to improving her skills and continually building on her knowledge and practice. She is happy to discuss any aspect of foot health and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalised treatment plans.
Melanie enjoys looking after the podiatry needs of some of Canberra's nursing homes and appreciates providing the best tailored evidenced-based treatment for each individual patient and strives to always have positive and successful treatment outcomes.
Outside of work Melanie has a strong interest in basketball, dance and physical education and enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog Molly.
Monday to Friday Melanie works as a podiatrist at nursing homes around Canberra. Therefore, she is only available only on selected Saturdays.
